Event Background

China's automotive industry has achieved rapid development in recent years, especially under the wave of electrification, and the competitive advantage of China's automotive industry has become more and more obvious. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China's auto exports exceeded one million units for the first time in the first quarter of 2023, reaching 1.07 million units, up 58.1% year-on-year, making it the world's top auto exporter. Chinese automakers enjoy high visibility and market share in the domestic market, and more and more companies are looking to expand their business in international markets. The Chinese automotive industry going abroad is beneficial for companies to expand their market share and increase revenue and profits, while at the same time, the improving product technology and innovation capabilities are gradually establishing a good brand image in overseas markets. China's automotive industry has a well-established value chain and a mature supply chain system, so many foreign and joint venture automotive brands tend to build their production bases in China to take advantage of China as a manufacturing and export center to expand their global market share and meet the needs of the international market.
